I read it when I was a kid. My grandma is Chinese and she bought it for me. The shar pei's visit their family and participate in traditional chinese customs. I can't remember the name of the book for my life! Have you heard of it?

IT is the Six Wrinkled Woos- I own Chinese Shar Peis and have had the book for over 13 years. It is very valuable now! The cover had a velvet texture that is modled to look like the skin of a shar pei. Thanks for bringing back memories!!!!! Good luck finding it!
