What are your children's names and why did you name them that?

Why did you name your children what you did? Is it a family name or a friends name..Something you just came up with? Are they named after somebody special to you? My kids names are





Trinity Kencade---He was named this because he made me and his father 3 with him being in our life. His Middle name was also hid fathers middle name.





Jayden Lynn--was named after a young boy from my home town that was a victom of murder he was a beautiful loving wonderful little boy.


His middle name is after his Grandmother who passed away a year and 2 days before he was born.





Kaiden Dilynn--was named after a good friend of my husband and i and his middle name comes from his Grandfather.

What are your children's names and why did you name them that?
Samantha Marie- three days after she was born we still couldn't come up with a good name for her. We chose her first name off the top of our heads and I gave her my middle name. It was that or they wouldn't release her LOL.





MacKenzie Faith- Always loved the name MacKenzie and my mother suggested it. Faith because it took us forever to get pregnant and we had to have a lot of faith it would finally happen for us.





Emilia Justice- Loved the name Emilia and wanted a name for her that no one else would have.





Connor William- Not sure how we came up with that name but William is my husband's middle name.





Kaitlyn Nicole- None of us could pick a name for her. I went into labor and told everyone I wasn't going to the hospital until I had a name. Our oldest daughter Sam spit this one out as names were flying around the room. I said "Ok then, we go with Sam's choice" and that was that LOL.





Anthony Michael- Anthony is my father and Michael was my father in law who passed away shortly after our son was born.





September Grace- She was a complete surprise and we found out in September. We were told we couldn't have any more children so we got pregnant by grace lol.





Our newest baby is due in March. If it is a girl she will be Bailey Michelle. Bailey as it seems to be the popular pick among the girls and Michelle because I have a friend with that name and I think it is beautiful. If it is a boy it will be Elijah (no middle name picked yet). Elijah because my husband's family tree dates back to the 1500s. His branch they nicknamed the "line of Elijah" as there is at least one of them in every generation on his branch while the name doesn't show up at all in the other branches. We thought it was cute.

Jack Martin - (Jack is his dad, and martin is my father's middle name)





Edward James (eddie) - Edward after my great uncle ed and his middle name. James after the last 4 men in my family.





Alyssa Lee - Alyssa is a pretty name that we agree on - and lee is my middle name.





Alida is also a family name that was considered.

My six year olds name is Eden Evangeline: Eden after my sister and Evangeline after my aunt





My four year olds name is Finley Thomas: Thomas after my grandpa and finley because thats the market that my dad took us to every saturday growing up





My 2 1/2 year old twins are Bridget Rose and Ivy Madeleine: Rose after my great grandmother and Bridget after my cousin and my conformation name and we just liked Ivy's names





And my new baby on the way is going to be named Anna Violet: Violet in keeping with the nature theme and anna after my best friend



Reply:My children's names are Finnian Joseph and Lyra (Lee-rah, not Lie-rah) Juliette.





Finnian, after the Saint, and because I liked the way it sounds, and Joseph after St. Joseph.





Lyra, my husband and I found in a baby book and immediately fell in love with. Juliette is from my best friend, Julia, my husbands mom, Julie, and St. Julianna, patron Saint of newborns.
Reply:I wanted my baby to have an uncommon name. I also wanted a name with meaning, leaning more toward a Arabic name. Once we found out it was a boy, the name came easy. Dareon Rashaad-----Dareon is his dad's first name. He was named after someone and I beleive the name is French. Once I was looking at Arabic names on net and say the name Rashad spelled with 2 "a's" before the "d". That was perfect because my last name is Rashada. So just move the last "a" inward and viola: Rashaad. Rashaad means: thinker

James is a family name-my great-uncle was James Philip, Granfather is James Thomas, Father is James Lee and brother is James Lee. My brother cant have kids, so i named my son James.





Michael-after my brother, Aaron Michael, who is awesome!! (it was better than Wayne, after my other brother, William Wayne!)

1. I love the name Amelia, I think it's very classy and beautiful


2. My best friend Caroline is going to be the baby's god mother. Caroline is also good friends with my fiancee. We all knew each other growing up and she's a very special person to us.

Joseph Benjamin - Joseph after my Dad who died when i was six and Benjamin after my friends Dad who was like a second Dad to me and had also died before Joe's birth.





Clodagh-lily Elizabeth - The first names were chosen because i had seen the name Clodagh in a book and really liked it and Lily sounds pretty with it. Her name is after my Dad's eldest sister who brought him up because his Mum died 4 days before his first birthday.





Jacob Michael - my husband really liked Jacob and it was the only name he had chosen and Joe chose Michael because his best friend was named Michael at the time.





Most importantly all names were chosen because they were unusual - this was when Joseph and Jacob were not common - as i had always had an unusual surname but when i married it changed to Lee so i wanted my children's first names to be unusual

Camilla May : I went into labor with Camie at 27 weeks . . . and she was born no heavier that 2 pounds 1 ounce ! ! Out of all the midwife's at the hospital, the one that helped me when realize that everything would be alright and that Camie is going to pull through, was a beautiful woman named Camilla ! ! She was there for me when my the whole time Camie was in hospital . . . she was truly a guardian angel to me and Camie ! ! And to my husband, who was in Chad on duty at the time . . .She was originally meant to be Sophie May, that's where May came from :)





Angelina Elise : Angelina is a name that I grew up loving ! ! Form some reason I never ever got sick of the name . . . %26amp; Elise is Angie's godmother . . .

Reply:My son's name is Thomas Moore. Thomas is a family name ( I think everyone in my family has thomas somewhere in their name. Moore is his fathers biological last name. His father was adopted and wanted his Original last name to be remembered because his great grandfather was Clement Clarke Moore who is the man that wrote The Night Before Christmas.


My daughters name is Karli Michelle. Karli was the name of one of my childhood friends and her dad picked michelle.


I am hoping for one more and if it is a girl her name will be irelyn Marie. Irelyn because I love it and Marie is my middle name. If it is a boy his name will be Jaxon Anthony. Jaxon after my mom, her name is Jacklyn but I have always called her Jaxon. Anthony is his dads middle name.
