My Children's Names?

I'd just like everyone's opinions on my children's names.





Luthien Grace


August Malachai Christopher


Juno Cleopatra





I know they arent that traditional.. but they're definatley more normal than some names out there! Cleopatra, Christopher and Grace are all family names.

My Children's Names?
i don't like Luthien or cleopatra. I always liked malachai though my stepgrandmother who is super religious said it was a devil or demons name. August is cool. i like names like that. i would've stuck with summer though if that why that child got the name ( born in august) anyhoo I would also like to say feldman's comment was rude and racist. they actually don' sound like black names if there is such a classification they sound like what they are names

I especially hate Malachai and Luthien.

Reply:I normally don't answer questions where the kids are already named, but I must say, I *love* Juno and August.





Luthien seems a little harder to wear, but you've anchored the unusual first name with the classic Grace - so I think that's a good compromise, too.





ETA: Unusual names are fabulous. While many people will say harsh things, studies suggest that people with unusual names actually LIKE them. And I know plenty of people who hated being one of ten Michaels or one of twenty Jennifers.
Reply:I think they are a bit "out there" especially the first and last ones. But that's just my opiinion.

Reply:Very unique... I love a different name, but Im kinda laughing about the Juno name, wasnt that a movie that just came out... August is kinda like... ugh? I has a classmate named January... weird. But I like Luthien Grace, its a girls name? Nice... They're deffinitly better then soemthing like Nicole, or Jennifer...
