Do you like my children's names?

Some say that they're a little unusual... but that's how I wanted them to be! I have four girls and one boy... with another child on the way!

Carmen (7)


Daffie (4)


Eli (2)





By the way Eli is short for Elijah so is pronounced Eel - eye





If my sixth child is a girl she will be called Fay and if it's a boy I'm thinking Fergus or Fabian! (I'm hoping it's a boy for Eli's sake!)

I love the name Fergus


and it goes perfectly with siblings names


Fay is very pretty too

i really dont like Fergus or Fabian, please that name will be really brutal in school. you said Felix in your other question, that name is lovely.
Reply:They all ok, but Daffy is not a name I would go for. Fay is nice, Fergus is a no-no, Fabian is better, Fabian is a Shakespeare play character - which you probably know, if you like Shakespeare how about 'Portia' for a girl or 'Oberon' for a boy ? Wouldn't go for 'Puck' from 'Midsummer's Night Dream' that would be a nightmare - Lol.
Reply:Those are cute names. I like them a lot. I especially love Addy, Bella, and Eli. They are sooo cute. Daffie and Carmen are nice too though. I'm not crazy about Fay or Fabian. They don't really seem to suit a baby. Fabian sounds foreign.I personally like Faylee or Fayla better with Fay for short. But if you like them go for it. It is your child after all. Reply:What lovely names! They're all unusual but all have got a traditional feel to them. Fay and Fergus are also excellent choices - I'm not sure about Fabian - if you have a boy I'm sure whichever you choose will suit him perfectly! Good luck for when newest family member arrives!

I love Elijah for a boy and Fabian is my favourite name out of the two you listed for boys and Fay is cute. Prefer it spelt Faye but that just my suggestion.
