Do you like my children's names?

My MIL and I got into a little argument. She decided to tell me that she hated my babies names. Not that it had anything to do with why she was mad, but she figured anything to upset me. These are my children's names. The ones with the * next to them were named by there mother, a friend of mine who passed away due to cancer. She left her children to my husband and I. Not that I care what she thinks, but do you like them? I think I did pretty good!





13 years- Bailee Mae


10 years- Alyssa Nicole*


7 years- Jayden Hope


6 years- Jillian Nicole*


5 years- Sophie Elise


3 years- Alexis Marie


3 year- Mia Kate*


17 months- Grace Paige

Do you like my children's names?
Bailee Mae is really sweet and it has a really nice flow to it, if that was me I would probably spell it Bailee May, just so there isn't too many e's. 9/10





Alyssa Nicole is not my favourite but I like it (does that make sence?) I really like Nicole(my all-time favavourite girl's name!) and Alyssa is ok. 6.5/10





Jayden Hope Awww, really sweet name! I really never thought of this name on a girl, but I actually like it! I'm really sorry about the heart problems. I think Hope goes great with Jayden! 10/10





Jillian Nicole is also a really cute name, really love Jillian Nicole, it has a nice ring/flow to it! 9/10





Sophie Elise really cute! I love sophie and I've never liked the name Elise, but it goes really well with Sophie! 10/10





Alexis Marie really nice! I really like the name Alexis and Marie! And togeather they sound amazing! 10/10





Mia Kate is nice, but I would of went with a longer middle name or did something to the name to make it longer. Other than that I really like the name! 7/10





Grace Paige I like both Grace and Paige, but not togeather. They don't flow that well. 6.5/10

Sophie Elise : I never liked the name Sophie, but it suits some people, so, perhaps it suits your little girl.


Alexis Marie : I love Alexis ! My middle name is Marie, so this is one of my favorites :))


Mia Kate : I don't like Kate as the middle name, but I LOVE Mia ! It's so pretty !!

Reply:I love all the girls names. They are all beatiful names. I have three girls and there names are Jordyn Isabella, Aaliyah-Mae Morgan, and Harli-Lyn Makena.


I have a cousin who hates my girls names and I just ignore her. She was so mad that I named the twins Aaliyah and Harli but it doesn't matter to them. If you and your husband love the names what other people say doesn't matter.

Reply:Wow, you have 5 of your own kids , which is in itself a feat and now you have 3 adopted kids from your friend too. I think that you are an amazing person and the last thing you should be concerning yourself with is your Mother in Law's approval or disapproval. The girls have beautiful names and all I have to say is, "Your poor husband is surrounded!" Make sure he gets some guy time once in a while. Reply:I personally love every single one of those names. But you know what its not the name that makes them who they are, its the person who raises them. And you taking in those girls is alot more important than your mother in laws little spats. She will never accept them as part of her family, and I think its another way of her telling you that. Just keep your chin up, and be proud of yourself for accomplishing what you have. Your children will grow up to be strong individuals, and then thats where the name really matters. Best of Luck!!!

I think they are all pretty cute names I like Alexis, Mia, and Sophie the best! And dont listen to what you MIL says because it doesnt really matter what she thinks about the names because their not her kids not to mention they already have the names!
Reply:They only ones I don't particularly care for are Bailee Mae and Jayden Hope, and it's not like they're awful names or anything. Don't let your mother in law get your panties in a knot. She's obvious got a little bit of ***** in her. And probably some immaturity to boot.
Reply:I think Sophie Elise is a VERY cute name (I really like Elise as a middle name). Alexis Marie flows very well and I really like the name Alexis but do not care for the middle name Marie. And Grace Paige is really cute!
