How did you come up with your child/children's names?

1. I knew I wanted to name my son Tyler when I found out I was pregnant but I couldn't come up with a middle name. I worked at this daycare and there was a cute little boy named Ethan there so I named my son Ethan Tylor (His dad misspelled the middle name)


2. With my daughter she was named after Riley Hospital for children and Madison Ave. Her name is Riley Madison


3. My youngest son was named after my husbands friend Jade and his best fried Sean, so his name is Jayden Sean.


4. We are currently pregnant with baby number 4 and we have chosen Donivan Robert for a boy (Don is after my best guy friend who died 2 years ago from cancer and Robert is from his dad that tied 7 years ago from cancer) and Makenzie Rose for a girl. (Makenzie is from my 1st friend Kenzie and my grandma Rose.)

How did you come up with your child/children's names?
I love all of the names!! Nice reasonings behind them too.





1. Our first is Destiny Rose , her first name is pretty self explanatory, she was destined/ our fate. Rose was my best friend's middle name.


2. Moriah Dawn , we loved the name Moriah (but didn't want to spell it the conventional way with an "a"). Dawn is actually my middle name - something that took a lot of debate, because usually if you're gonna pass a parents name on it is to the first. Our problem was Destiny and Dawn didn't go together very well and the name Destiny was more important for her.


3. Our third pregnancy brought twins : one boy and one girl. We went thru the ringer trying to come up with names. We ended up with Cayden Michael and Kianna Renee. The first names were just picked kind of from random. The initials are our first initials though (C - Chris / Cayden) ( K - Kim / Kianna). The middle names come from the best friends that we could ever ask for that were moving across the country about 2 weeks after we had the twins. Michael was his name and Renee is actually her middle name, but it sounded better with Kianna.





That is our story - if we have more, I'm not sure where we will get the inspiration from, but it'll work.
Reply:Paige Danielle: My husband like the name Danielle, but I didn't really like it for a first name. We were almost going to use Danielle as her first name until we came across Paige.





Mackenzie Alexis: We loved the name Mackenzie. I liked the name Alexandra, but we thought Mackenzie Alexandra was too long. So we shortened it to Alexis.





Nicholas Ryan/Sean/Dylan/Kyle: I am still pregnant with him. We loved the name Nicholas from the beginning. But as you can see, we still haven't picked a middle name.
Reply:Well i don't have children but i know why my parents chose my name and my siblings' names





1. They wanted something short and pretty for their first child. They also didn't want a long name so they didn't put a middle name. My dad wanted his first child to have the same initials as him. My mom wanted Isabella but my dad thought it was tood long. So they thought of Jennifer and Julie. My mom didn't like the actor Jennifer Aniston at the time, so they went with Julie.





2. It was their first son, so they wanted a nice name. My mom always loved the name Brian, so they chose that.





3. I was about 5 years old when my sister was born. I loved the show Clifford at the time. My parents were out of names, so they let me pick. I wanted Emily Elizabeth, like the girl in Clifford, but they just went with Emily.

Reply:I named all 4 of my girls,,, my first was macy lynn... but in a baby name book it was spelled maisie and now everybody thinks i named her after the department store macy.





My second child sarah is named from the bible but has the middle name of alexandria because we thought if it was a boy we were going to name him alexander, so when she was a girl it was changed to alexandria.





my third child is faith born into the meaning i had faith.. I had a hard time thinking of a middle name for her so she is a generation of evelyn... So I named her faith evelyn.





My 4th child yes i have had all girls is a direct name of my mom charlotte everlyn. Because my mom raised me since being adopted 51/2 yrs old and has been such a great part of my life i named my child after her.





But, people do tease me on why 2 of my girls have the same middle name..

Reply:Dylan for the first name because I like Bob Dylan. Wain (pronounced Wayne) for the middle because it is his daddy's name.

Reply:From TV. Tabbitha from Bewitched and Trisha from a daytime soap called Loving. Tabbitha's middle name is Lee as is mine and my mothers and my niece. Trisha's is Michelle after her father Michael (in feminine form of course.)
Reply:Here's how I chose my children's names:





1. Jack Daniel - Not like the beer. Jack is my brother's name %26amp; he only had a daughter, so I named my son after him. Daniel is my father's name.





2. Lucas James - My brother's name is Lucas. James is my husband's father's name.





3. Aubrey Elizabeth - My husband's mother is named Aubrey. My adoptive mother's name is Elizabeth.





4. Emily Ann - Ann is my birthmother's name. Emily is my grandmother's name.

Reply:colten's dad was playing a video game called guns and the name of the dude was colton...i was running around saying any name i could think of. he then yells out "Colton!" i come running..i was like YES! thats it..but lets spell it with an e. his middle name is stone. like a rock. that was for my mom.








my name is Davina and im named after my dad David. when i was prego with boy # 2,i thought hey..i like my dad, wouldnt it be cool to show him how much i love him. that how we got David. David's middle name is Loren just like my man's dad's middle name.
