Reply:The first one is "Caps for Sale: A Tale of a Peddler, Some Monkeys and Their Monkey Business" by Esphyr Slobodkina. I love that book!
Apparently, the second one is "Mrs Nelson is Missing" by either James Marshall or Henry Allard, depending on the version. (I do not pretend to have known that it was this book; I am only elaborating on the previous user's info.)
