My friends don't like my children's names?

I'm a widower and a mom of 4.My new friends say my children have too long names.Is that true and if so,it that bad?My name's Natalie Rose Davidson.


My children are:





Miccaela Elizabeth Kaelynn Yvette Davidson (age 9)


Emmalee Jacklynn Rachel Yvonne Davidson (age 6)


and the twins


Christina Cathryn Haylee Amyleen Davidson (age 5)


Ann Davidson (age 5)

Reply:They are your children and you and their father named them and that is all that matters. My daughter has four names. Back in the olden days it was like a status symbol. The more names you had the more prestiguis you were. Just tell your friends that when they have kids they can name them whatever they want. I think they sound beautiful. You rock girl

I have never seen anyone with 3 middle names but I have seen plenty with 1 or 2





oh yeah I am also curious, what happened to Ann's middle names? why is she the only one without a middle name?

Reply:I am just wondering if its your custom to give long names. Are you honoring any relatives? My middle name is honoring my grandmother. I would tell your friends that they are being rude. Personally, its worse when your first name can be either for a boy or girl like "Darcey", "Tracey", etc.


There is nothing wrong with the names. It actually sounds to me like their very important and prominent in society.

Reply:Your friend got nothing to do with the names of your children.The names were kept under certain circumstances. Whether is is too long or too short it does not matter with you.
Reply:I was gonna name my kid Beagley, (girl), but my husband refused! Who cares what your friends think of your kids names? The only person who you should care what they think was your husband, who must have agreed.

Everyone has different likes and dislikes that's all - so long as they're not judging the child by their name then why worry?
