Good names for children's book characters?

I've been trying to come up with amusing names for characters in a children's book, please choose your favourite from this list:





Fartboy and Doug


Smingey McMingemange


Retina McGee


Ovary Cooper


Nipsy von Boilpluke


Earlobe Williams

Good names for children's book characters?
I like Fartboy and Doug, but give Doug a little flare....


Make him Doug Dougie or The Doug Man or something like that.


Every main character has a great sidekick with a cool name.


Also, Ovary Cooper is just GROSS unless you are doing a hygiene short for little girls learning about the menstrual cycle.


Go back to the drawing board with that one.
