Do you like my Children's names?

I have unique names for my children, and I get mixed reactions? What do you think?


Lane Douglas (son)


Lynkin LaeReign pronounced (Lincoln) for my daughter


Locklynn Olivia (daughter)

Do you like my Children's names?
Those are beautiful names. My daughter's name is Zoey. You know the names are right when you type them on the computer and you get the dreaded "red line" underneath letting you know the spelling is wrong. I admire your desire to instill a sense of individuality and uniqueness with each of your children. Don't worry what others say or about the reactions. You love your kids, they love you.

Reply:I don't like the spelling for Lynkin. But the others are ok, i don't think its good if you have to specify the gender though
Reply:i think i'd like olivivia locklynn better than locklynn olivia and i think i prefer the traditional spelling of lincoln but otherwise they're all really great names

Reply:No, they sound like lord of the rings characters. A childs name should not make you feel proud of yourself, they should suit the child.

Reply:The problem is that they are going to be their whole life having to spell it out for everyone. They will probably end up keeping the simplest one.

Both are sophisticated.





Lynkin LaeReign sounds like you just got back from a concert and can't think straight. Please don't saddle your kid with a name like that.

Reply:The names are fine, and unusual. However, I would want my own name to mean something. Do your children's names mean anything in particular, or did they just sound good to you? Just something to think about. Besides, when I say "Lynkin, Locklynn, and Lane," I can't help thinking "Winkin, Blinkin, and Nod."

Reply:My high school typing teachers name was Miss Lane Loiselle. I have never heard of anyone else with that particular name until now. Please don't name your child Lynkin LaeReign. Are you a fan of Linkin Park or something? If so, name her after a band member instead.

Reply:Lane I like, Douglas not so much...Lynkin is also cute, im not sure how to pronounce the middle name on that one though. Locklynn...im not sure where that came from...if I were her, id go by Olivia, which is much cuter. It really doesnt matter now that they are named and if you love the names then thats all the matters...who cares what anyone thinks right? If youre worried about kids in school..well every kid gets made fun of it doesnt matter if her name is Ashley or Lincoln...kids are cruel either way, they dont care what your name is. Dont stress about it, im sure your kids are beautiful anyway!
