What are your children's names and do they have any special significance?

While you are at it ages and bragging are allowed and expected!!





Mine are :





Dylan John....he is 3 and his middle name is the same as his father's





Julianne Marlaine....she turned one on the 12th and her middle name is a combination of my 2 grandmother's names ( Mary and Elaine) and her first name is a friend of my Mom's first name...I have ALWAYS loved it.

What are your children's names and do they have any special significance?
I have 5 children, but soon to be 8.





Stefano Alexander: 21yrs. of age, Stefano is my FIL's first name.





Aaron Lucas: 18yrs. of age, we liked the name





Bella Anne: 14yrs. of age, in Italian Bella means beautiful and she truly is beautiful





Aidan Lee: almost 4 years of age, we liked the name





Camiella Grace: almost 4 years of age, when we adopted her this was her name and we love it





Now for my little triplet babies They are about 2.5 months old. We are adopting them and they can come home with us next week. Their mother was on drugs and alcohol and consequently, gave them very odd names. They are in no way cultural or meaningful to their family, I checked. The original names were Easter(G), Syrita(G), and Abelard(B). We incorporated the old names into the new names. They are now:





Emelia Hope Easter (Emmi)


Gabriella Faith Syrita (Gabi)


Nathaniel Jay Abelard (Nate)





Now my 3 adopted girls have the same theme for a middle name and their nick names are all 4 letters ending in 'i'. Emmi, Gabi, and Cami.





My first 5 children, even Cami, were born in Italy, so some of the names are Italian, but some are not. The last 3 were born in the US.





My children are all very talented and beautiful children. I love them all the same.

Katelyn Eloise - Katelyn will be Katie which was my greatgrans name. and Eloise was a good friend and Greatgrnas middle name was Elsie so combins both. also my middle name Louise so all of them together.:)


Jonathan Lucas- No a very special person named Jonathan so after him.


Rhys Martin - martin is my dad's middle name


Aaron William-Great grandads middle name was William.


Tiffany Joanna - Joanna is my mom's middle name and i know a great friend named Tiffany and same with Katelyn.

my mom didn't know of a name for me before i was born (well she was unsure) She liked the name Emily and while she was in the hospital their was a weather girl on named Emily and she really liked the ring of the name so that's how it came about. My middle name Jean is also my mothers I don't prefer it because it reminds me of fabric =] but i also LOVE it on the other hand b/c it's my mom's middle name aswell ...

MY second is Mason Owen, Same thing I love the name. He's 4 months.





I did not want to name them after anyone in the family because i have a huge family and was not going to have that many kids, i didnt want anyone to get upset because they did not have there name used. But I must say my sisters name is jayleen my mom coleen and her dad jay which is kinda cool.

My mother named me Abigail because of a book called 'The Firm' and in the book, her favorite character was named Abigail. This character was strong and kind to everyone.





My middle name is Elizabeth because that is my god-mother's name, and my godmother is so nice and is my mother's best friend.
Reply:ok, my Kaitlyn Dawn who is a smart a** 15 yr old today, but will always be the love of my life... i found her name when i was preggo back in 1993 in a magazine, and had never heard of a kaitlyn before... now they are everywhere


Dawn came from my middle name.


and my Melody Raine who is a smart a** 3 yr old and a OOOOPS for sure, whom i love more than life itself... me and my husband were riding down the road listening to Brickyard Road by lynard skynard... and the verse "little melody tags along" and raine because raine is a melody.... they are both my air that i breath without them i would have no air....

Alana Paige


Alana means "Awakening" (which I just kind of like) and Paige to give her the same initials as Daddy.





But honestly my kids got their names because they were the first ones in the baby name book that Dad liked other than his first choices "Osiris" and "Leilani"..

Frances, Cathryn, Theresa and Joel are all family names. Oh - and they're all brilliant, wonderful kids. All of their names seem to fit them too. What were we thinking though naming her "strong tower"?! She is my child with a temper and fiercest personality - we're working on channeling all her energy in POSITIVE outlets...
