How does a name go with your other children's names?

I don't understand.

I was just looking through the site, and people are asking things like 'which name goes with my other children's names?' How can a name go with your other children's names? They are completely separate individuals. I'm not sure how they can 'go'.

How does a name go with your other children's names?
Well some names just sound good together. Maybe they are a pair on tv or something so people just here them together. I take some of these names to be good sibling names .

Amy and Sarah

Lily and Owen.

Say you had maybe had a daughter called Penelope you maybe wouldn't have a son called Jayden. As you have a traditional name with a more modern popular name. But it wouldn't be bad people just see it as not 2 names that would normally go together.

I don't know about you but for me if I had these 4 names ( Michael, McKenzie, Kathryn and Caleb) and had to put them together as brother and sister i would do Michael and Kathryn and McKenzie and Caleb.

Hope I helped and it made some sense.
Reply:I think that means like if they sound good together like when you're saying your kids names it's not like to L names then a Z name or something kind of like that. One of my sisters kids names are Chloe, 4, Aidan, 2, and Courtney and Asher, 1. Girls names start with C, and boys names start with A. My other sister has three kids, Leann, Liam, and Leah. They're names all start with L.
Reply:It means names that sound good together.

Example, Frederick Herman and Jayden Taylor don't sound good together, because the first is more 'old fashioned' and the second is more 'trendy'

Names like Sophia and Ava would be an example of names that go well together.
Reply:Well would you really name kids Holly and Ivy

you need to imagine yourself calling their names together. And as many people may shout their names in the future you need many opinions
Reply:What they mean is, do the names sound good together. Are they similar in style, things like that.
