Since you didn't say WHICH of his sons, and I am assuming the Knox's in your family came from them since the daughters would have their married name instead, I'll list their children if any are mentioned:
1. Henry Jackson Knox married Eliza Read on 17 MAY 1803 in St. George, ME. NO children listed. He also died at not quite 52 (19 OCT 1832) .
None of the others mentioned a spouse or children; most died before age 15; and the only others listed were Caroline, who married twice, and the last 2 girls.*
Yet another tree shows
*Caroline ******* Knox--resided @ Montpelier; no children
Marriage 1 : James Swan (d. 22 MAR 1836 );
Marriage 2 John Holmes on 31 JUL 1837
*Lucy ******* Knox married the Honorable Ebenezer Thatcher ; " moved to Montpelier after Caroline's death, had children "--but none listed.

I can't find any descendants of Henry Knox at all, other than his own
children. =(
Reply:ASSUMING that you are correct and you are related to him.. the 2 options are..
1. work from YOURSELF backwards, to prove each of your ancestors.
2. work DOWN FROM Henry, finding documents for each son..grandsons, gr grandsons, etc. You will spend a lot of time finding documents for persons who ARE NOT YOUR line.
Gently.. I am trying to explain that the 2nd option is highly not reccomended, and might even fail to prove what you want.
Option 1, done right, will ALWAYS ALWAYS be correct, will always be your line, and keeps you from wasting time (and money).
